February 2019: EFFO Simulation exercise

An ambitious scenario was developed to challenge the well-trained staff of the district hospital: A pregnant woman with acute bleeding presented at the obstetrics emergency room, accompanied by her husband, after she had visited the neighboring country during the outbreak. As part of the exercise and after identifying the suspected case, the woman was transferred to a temporary isolation unit and treated there.
